Preparation
A consultation and facial assessment with the dermatologist, photographs, numbing cream and thorough skin cleansing.
Treatment
Small, precise injections with a fine needle or blunt cannula, shaping the result as the doctor goes. Most products contain lidocaine for comfort.
Aftercare
Mild swelling, tenderness or small bruises can occur and usually settle within a few days. Avoid pressing or massaging the area, alcohol, saunas and strenuous exercise for 24–48 hours. A follow-up check is available.
